**Reasons to choose Kingston** – You’ll be taught by staff who are actively involved in research and who publish and present their work nationally and internationally. – As part of this course, you’ll develop key skills for employment, including project management, research design, data analysis and report writing. – Through an optional work placement, you can prepare yourself for employment and increase your workplace skills. **About this course** This course focuses on developing your unique style as a photographer, preparing you for a career in the creative industries. You’ll be able to explore your photography within a structured studio setting, experimenting with new approaches and techniques. You’ll develop your ideas, skills and portfolios through project briefs that engage with the professional world. The final major project (an exhibition or other format) will prepare you for employment in the creative industries and/or postgraduate study. Our facilities include photographic darkrooms, analogue film processing (colour/B&W), digital post production and retouching suites, dedicated photo studios, ‘black-box’ studio, film/digital cameras (all formats), specialist lighting equipment and gallery spaces.
