**We are very proud to be rankedtop in London for media and film studies (Guardian University League Tables 2020)** **Reasons to choose Kingston** – You’ll be given inductions to Kingston School of Art’s open access workshops and be able to use the wide range of facilities available. – The degree incorporates professional practice through masterclasses from people in a range of film-related careers. – Film Cultures invites you to submit creative responses such as reviews, scripts and video essays, as well as traditional essays and presentations. **About this course** Film Cultures explores the relationship between film, society and a range of other art forms. This course is ideal if you’re interested in film and creative industry careers beyond production, such as journalism and reviewing, festival programming, museum and exhibit curation and promotion and copywriting. You’ll study film as part of a dynamic mix of cultural influences, including fashion, design, dance, literature, comic books, the visual arts, photography, television, digital art and video games. You’ll explore both Hollywood and other production cultures from around the world. You’ll develop analytical and critical skills, learn from industry professionals, research independent topics of your choice, and graduate with a portfolio of work, relevant to your future career.
