It offers knowledge and skills relevant to industry, research or teaching. You’ll develop laboratory and practical techniques, broaden your knowledge of environmental chemistry, and enhance the academic and professional skills valued by employers. Later in the course, you’ll look at inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. You’ll expand your skills for interpreting the results of modern spectroscopic investigations. Through optional modules, you can tailor your degree to your interests and career goals and through an individual project you can investigate a chosen area in depth.
