Chemistry with Materials and Nanoscience - Heriot-Watt University

This is a fully qualifying Chemistry degree which allows students to specialize in (i) characterization of materials and emerging new energy technologies or (ii) materials physics. Students on this new degree study Chemistry but also look beyond their subject at the applications of materials (made by chemists) in Physics and Engineering. In addition to core Chemistry modules, students take additional modules in Maths, Physics and more specialised options covering renewable energy. The specialisation is reinforced by students choosing a materials or energy related research project in their final year.
