Food and Public Health Nutrition

This course is concerned with promoting and maintaining the nutritional health of populations through understanding of the links between diet, lifestyle and health. Through this degree course you will learn about the key nutrition-related issues challenging the future of food supply and develop the skills and competencies to address these from a public health nutrition perspective. The course is designed as a multi-disciplinary degree course that includes both theory and applied approaches to the subject including a relevant work placement undertaken in your third year.
