Masters in Nursing (Adult) - Edinburgh Napier University

Shape the future of adult, child, mental health or learning disability nursing with this new Masters which includes registration. The Masters in Nursing (MN) is a programme designed for graduates which enables you to achieve a post-graduate Masters qualification alongside gaining your nursing registration. The MN underpins all aspects of nursing practice and leads to eligibility for registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council professional register in Adult Health. It is a full-time, three year post-graduate degree which aims to provide you with a range of learning, teaching and assessment experiences that will enable you to become a critically reflective postgraduate nurse with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of your respective field of nursing. Throughout this programme you will be in University studying theory (50%) and then have the opportunity to engage in clinical-based learning (50%) in a variety of health and social care settings anywhere within the Lothian and Borders area; with the potential that students will have at least one placement in the Borders. Integrated into this programme is the opportunity to engage in a mobility practice placement outwith NHS Lothian and Borders or internationally, and attend conferences and workshops. Please visit our website for full course and module details.
