This programme has been developed by educational experts and is for anyone seeking a career in the Children’s Workforce in schools and other educational settings. It aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to become an outstanding professional within a changing education landscape. Throughout the degree you will develop your understanding of children and young people’s learning and development, while also gaining the skills needed to prepare for a career in this sector. You will examine the theories of teaching and learning, consider child and young people’s development and learning needs, learn to identify vulnerability and familiarise yourself with the policy context for working with children and young people.
