This course will prepare you for a potential career in a wide range of marketing communications disciplines such as, advertising, public relations, digital communications or the wider field of marketing. You will develop an in-depth understanding of, marketing communications tools and activities, buying behaviour, target audience analysis and campaign planning. You will also learn how to develop communication messages, and undertake digital and traditional media planning. We are a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accredited study centre and an Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) key educational partner, leading to significant exemptions from CIM and IDM professional qualifications (subject to module choice). You will have the chance to develop a new business concept on our Fox’s Lair!® assessment, similar to Dragon’s Den, where you will receive feedback from real-life entrepreneurs who will help you develop the skills employers look for – teamwork, project management, communication and problem solving. You will work on real projects with advertising and marketing communications agencies, such as creating advertising campaigns, and undertake a variety of innovative coursework and assessments to help you put your skills into practice.
