Paramedic Science

A Paramedic Science DipHE is an important step into a career where you’ll be challenged every day to face the unexpected and help others. Professional paramedics are ready to face the unexpected challenges that come with providing emergency care in the pre-hospital environment or out of hospital healthcare to an ageing and diverse population. This course aims to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a professional, HCPC registered paramedic. One of the benefits of studying this course is a long-standing collaboration with the West Midlands Ambulance Service, who provide support, placement provision and mentorship for students. Such support can prove valuable when it comes to you applying for a professional position. You’ll have the chance to use an ambulance simulator, which can give you valuable opportunity to familiarise yourself with the environment you hope to work in.
