Paramedic Science

On successful completion of this course, you will be eligible to apply for registration as a paramedic on the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) professional register. It is a legal requirement that anyone who wishes to practice using a title protected by the Health Professions Order 2001 is on the HCPC Register. A high percentage of students obtain their first job from their placement provider; •lectures from specialists in their field across the paramedic, nursing and mental health spectrum. All with experience and a special interest in pre-hospital care; •the use of an ambulance simulator provides you with an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the environment in which you are going to work before you step foot on an operational vehicle; •close supervision, support and guidance while on placement with a service provided by a qualified Paramedic mentor; •a wide range of current books and articles related to paramedic sciences with contribution from the teaching team.
