With communication critical in many aspects of business, we aim to help prepare you for multilingual, international working environments. This course aims to provide a solid foundation in business studies within a cross-cultural context. Focusing on French and/or Spanish, widely regarded as two of the world’s most important languages (https://corelanguages.com/top-ten-important-languages/), there is also the option to choose a third language, such as Italian, German or Japanese. You’ll also be introduced to a selection of other languages, including Mandarin and Arabic. Language study focuses on the language of business, while the study of business, management and marketing covers knowledge, skills and competences within business organisations and an awareness of specific business cultures and contexts.
