Our Environmental Engineering course has been designed to meet the needs of niche and highly specialised national and international markets, tailored to the requirements of an integrated civil and environmental engineering sector. You will study subjects that can give you the necessary skills to assess, analyse and manage the natural and man-made impacts and risks on the built environment. In addition, the course aims to train you in decision-making to protect the built-environment and to initiate and lead on sustainable development. An understanding of the environmental engineering (e.g. water, wastewater/flooding/pollution and energy) industry, regulation, organisation and roles, and technical and commercial management skills with social, economic/financial, environmental legal and ethical context Studying with students on a wide range of courses covering other professional disciplines in an integrated school of energy, construction and environment which reflects the interdisciplinary nature of civil and environmental engineering projects. A teaching team who are active in research and have industrial experience, who bring their expertise into their teaching to ensure it is relevant to the needs of industry. Use of the unique Coventry University Construction Simulation Centre; as well as guest lectures, laboratory and fieldwork and local and overseas field trips.
