Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering - Cardiff Metropolitan University

This integrated programme addresses the skills needed to work with both software and hardware to design exciting electronic and computer based systems. These so called embedded systems are ubiquitous in the modern world and their use will grow with the advent of the internet and the needs of the industry. You will gain a thorough grounding in electrical and electronic theory, signals and systems as well as computer programming. You will cover embedded system programming as well as networks and cyber security, addressing the professional and ethical considerations of digitisation. Graduates are ideally placed to gain lucrative employment in this burgeoning sector. This programme will be industry focussed offering opportunities for industrial placements and will be designed to allow accreditation of this programme by the Institution of Engineering and Technology and thus establish graduates on the path to becoming a Chartered Engineering. This programme is subject to validation for September 2020 entry and the information provided may be subject to change.
