The Foundation Degree in Ceramics aims to encourage your creative flair, while giving you the knowledge and skills required to be successful in the Ceramics industry. Using a mix of lectures, seminars, technical workshops, demonstration and supervised studio activities, you will develop the technical skills used in the forming process such as throwing, plaster forming and hand building. You’ll also have the opportunity to experiment and develop your own glazes to use on your work and gain instruction on the use of kilns and the different firing effects.
