Health and Social Care Studies

This unique course allows you to develop your knowledge and understanding of the health and social care sector. The course will allow you to make sense of the theories underpinning the subject, and consider how they can be applied in practice, through class discussions, role-play, practice-based scenarios and debate. You will explore areas including: • skills for lifelong learning • person-centred practice • collaborative working • human development through the life stages • introducing public health and social care • introduction to human anatomy and physiology. All students will need to travel to the Canterbury campus for the Human Anatomy and Physiology module.
