The European Union and events in Europe have a huge impact on our daily lives. In the wake of the ‘Brexit’ vote, there is an urgent need for expertise on Britain’s evolving relationship with the European Union and our degree will equip graduates with a deep and critical understanding of the main issues. Our innovative programme seeks to enhance your understanding of European political history and current developments. You will explore areas including: • the social, economic and political history of Europe • the laws, policies and institutions of the European Union • contemporary discussions relating to European politics, populism, Brexit and migration.
