This course aims to develop graduates who will shape the world of media work as creative communicators: agile, critical, ethical, and collaborative makers of media content. Media Production is an industry-focused course with its core disciplines being: film; audio production, and digital media design, underpinned by scriptwriting. Students engage with each of these in their first year. The second year builds on this as students learn to work across media forms and platforms, in ways that reflect many of the changes that media industries are currently undergoing. By the third year, students can specialise, and much of the focus is on their Graduate Production Project, a piece of work developed and made by them in whatever media form (or forms) they choose to work.
