All our LLB courses are Qualifying Law Degrees which offer the additional opportunity to specialise in an area of law. Accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the Bar Standards Board, this all-encompassing law degree course will encourage you to investigate areas of interest, as well as gaining as much experience as possible by attending court and undertaking work placements. We know it’s difficult to decide which area of law you’d like to focus on when you’re just setting out on your training, which is why all of our law pathways share a common first semester. This means that you don’t need to make any major decisions about which branch of law you’d like to specialise in until you’ve spent a term studying the subject area and have a better grasp of what each field entails. We offer the following options within the LLB (Hons) Law portfolio: Law, Entertainment Law and Law with Politics. If you are an international applicant (non-UK or non-EU) the placement year is optional for you. If you don't wish to undertake a placement year you can apply for the 3 year LLB (Hons) course using the UCAS code M101. We hope this gives you the flexibility to decide what’s best to suit your needs as an international student. The work placement is compulsory for UK and EU students.
