The Bachelor of Commerce is an innovative program designed for students interested in the financial side of business. As well as core business skills, you will complete a major in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Big Data, Economics or Finance. You are also encouraged to complete a minor to diversify your skills and enhance your employability. On completion of finance major in Commerce, you will meet the requirements for professional accreditation with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (RG146 compliance). The Bachelor of Laws degree is your first step towards being able to practise law in Australia. With further study, you will have the opportunity to take leading positions in the public and private sectors, such as solicitor in private practice, barrister, government lawyer, in-house counsel and academia. The degree can also be used to gain admission internationally; however, you are advised to confirm admission requirements in the particular jurisdiction in which you wish to practise.
