BA (Hons) TESOL & Linguistics

Have you ever considered how English is used globally? Do you have a particular interest in how languages are learned and taught? If so, our exciting new BA in TESOL & Linguistics (teaching English to speakers of other languages) could be the ideal course for you. The BA (Hons) TESOL & Linguistics is a three-year full time course designed for aspiring teachers or individuals who wish to pursue a career in working with learners of English as an additional, second or foreign language. It is ideal for students from all academic backgrounds as there are no subject specific entry requirements other than GCSE English. It will provide you with the academic knowledge, practical skills and professional experience required for a future in English language teaching and further study in the field of linguistics. Taught modules will provide the opportunity for you to consider and develop your own understanding of how languages are learnt, used and taught in multicultural communities across the globalized world.
