The International Foundation Programme in Science is a one year course designed for International students who do not have the required GCE A levels or equivalent qualifications for entry to Aston University undergraduate degree programmes and who want to study Science or related programmes. The programme is equivalent to the UK’s Year 13. This programme allows you to study modules in the key science topics needed to progress to the degree of your choice in Life and Health Sciences (please note that we are unable to accept international students on BSc Healthcare Science). In addition, you will receive support in language and study skills. This is a transition programme which aims to consolidate your existing skills and knowledge and build on them to smooth your transition to a University environment. This is a course for non-EU international students only. This programme will give you access to the following degrees in Aston's School of Life and Health Sciences: •MPharm (Pharmacy) - interview required • BSc Biological Sciences • BSc Biomedical Sciences • BSc Biomedical Engineering •BSc Neuroscience • BSc/MOptom (Optometry) - interview required • BSc Psychology • BSc Psychology and Business • BSc Psychology and Sociology
