On this course you will spend half of your time studying Human Geography and half studying French. In Human Geography you will have the opportunity to study sustainability, urbanisation, rural change, cultural and historical geography, and political studies, guided by world-leading academics, with field courses, seminars and workshops supporting your studies, giving you practical experience and the opportunity to develop your specialist and transferable skills. You can choose to study French as a beginner or at an advanced level. In addition to language tuition you will also have the opportunity to study modules on French history, literature, linguistics and current affairs, and you will also spend your third year of study in a French-speaking country, all of which are crucial for developing your understanding of the language and its cultural context.
