The three year History with Education degree is a major/minor programme, meaning that you will spend two thirds of your time studying History and one third studying Education. In History you will have full access to modules that cover a range of periods and places. From medieval Britain to modern Japan, Wales to the United States, our large choice of modules will enable you to both follow your interests and discover new ones. With an emphasis on cultivating a supportive learning environment, that includes one-to-one tutorials and small group teaching, we will help you realise a passion for the past. In Education, you will learn about the impact of educational policy on children and schools, how children learn and the place of assessment in the education system. You will also be able to choose other optional modules of study to suit your interests, and you will have access to a programme of employability activities aimed at life after graduation. By graduating with a degree in History with Education you will have proved yourself to have developed vital skills of research, analysis and communication that are considered important attributes for employment in a number of graduate careers in either of your subjects.
