York St John University is an ambitious, modern University located in the heart of historic York. As part of the university's ambitious development plan, it will open a new campus in London in the summer of 2018. Located in the Barbican area, the new campus will offer a range of forward-thinking Masters Degrees an d will provide nan opportunity for our York based student and staff to access the opportunities afforded from a London campus presence.

Working with the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Advancement), they will lead on the University's international student recruitment activity as it relates to programmes (postgraduate in the first instance) at the University's London campus (YSU London). Liaising with relevant London and York based colleagues, they will develop, implement and evaluate international recruitment and associated marketing strategies for the London campus to ensure ambitious student recruitment targets are met.

The Head of International Recruitment, YSU London will play an influential role in the development and delivery of the University-wide international recruitment strategy to ensure delivery of the recruitment targets. They will be expected to be an ambassador for the university and will forge new and productive relationships with external organisations with a view to securing new and viable markets for the university.

Educated to postgraduate level they will have proven, significant experience in a strategic role, with a record of achievement in implementing effective international student recruitment and marketing strategies.
