We're looking for two experienced and creative communications officers to join our expanding team within the marketing and communications function. This exciting and varied role involves proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the University’s profile, reputation and influence on a regional, national and international stage. By understanding our audiences you’ll choose the best ways to promote our staff and student achievements, highlight our community contribution and showcase our growing research influence.

We’re looking for skilled communications professionals, talented in shaping clear messages and writing compelling and engaging copy for diverse audiences across multiple platforms. Working across both external and internal communications you’ll have the ability to build and maintain relationships with our media contacts, community partners and external stakeholders, as well as with our staff and students. A sound understanding of the HE environment is an advantage, but more important is a strong track record of delivering impactful PR and communications activity, with the confidence and ability to provide strategic communications advice to colleagues.
