To support the growth in student numbers the university is investing significantly in its’ HR and Staff development teams. Our vision is to create a high impact HR and Staff Development team composed of specialists located close to the business focussing on effectiveness and outcomes. The team will be aligned to the business, valued as a strategic partner and continue to exceed customer expectations, be proactive, responsive and innovative.

Based at our beautiful campus in the centre of historic York, you will
be working in small and fast paced HR and Staff Development Teams, challenged and stimulated in a community of HR and Staff Development professionals.

We have a number of roles available, including a Resourcing and On-boarding Manager.

The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to bring
together their significant knowledge and experience of successful resourcing
and on-boarding campaigns alongside their leadership skills to shape and
deliver the future design of the workforce.

In collaboration with the HR Business Partner team, the successful
candidate will work with managers to identify skills gaps and take forward appropriate resourcing strategies to ensure the right people in the right roles to meet university’s needs.

The successful candidate will have the ability to develop effective and innovative approaches to meet the University’s resourcing needs to ensure
we attract and recruit the best candidates in support of the University’s
Strategy for excellence and growth.

 

Significant experience of working within an operational HR environment
leading staff recruitment campaigns is essential, alongside an up to date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
