The Role

Full-time, permanent role

Salary is £29,176 to £33,797 per annum

Location: York

International Programmes is part of the York St John International Directorate and offers a range of programmes including General English; Presessional; Insessional; International foundation Programme and a number of Pathway and Bespoke courses.

We are seeking an International Programmes Tutor with experience of working on Presessional, Insessional and other EAP programmes. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to contribute to teaching across the suite of programmes. You will be asked to develop teaching, learning and assessment resources and work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality of provision. You may also be expected to co-ordinate small teaching teams.

You will be a highly qualified EFL/EAP practitioner with experience of teaching and coordinating EAP programmes, preferably in a UK university. Ideally, you will also have experience of coordinating modules and developing commercial EFL/ESP courses. You will hold a degree and a DELTA (or equivalent) qualification.
