YSJ Active is a service geared towards providing an exciting range of opportunities for sport, exercise and recreation.
The University has recently invested millions of pounds in new sport facilities. The YSJ Active Exercise and Wellbeing Assistant will be central to ensuring that these facilities, and the professionals who work in them, have a significant positive impact on students, staff, the local community and our commercial partners.
The role will assist in the development of YSJActive as a recognised professional provider of sport, exercise and wellbeing in the university and the community. The postholder will assist in the development and delivery of YSJActive activities and projects as well as providing a professional reception and front of house service.
It is essential that the postholder possesses a fitness room or gym qualification. Candidates must also have experience of common reception duties and experience of dealing with customers. Experience of working in the Health and Fitness industry is desired, however we welcome applications from applicants with experience from other sectors.
If you’d like to shape the story of a 175 year old institution with a fantastic future, we’d love to hear from you.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion within our workforce and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
