As a key member of the Vice Chancellor’s Executive Board, the successful applicant will play a major role in the strategic leadership and management of the University and share in the development and delivery of the University’s key strategic priorities.  As the Executive lead for the University’s subject portfolio and curriculum development, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) will foster collegiality and ensure the delivery of excellence through the University’s inclusive approaches to learning, teaching and assessment.  

As our ideal candidate, you will be a collaborative leader committed to advancing the University with the ability to initiate and lead the development of new and creative approaches.  You will be able to demonstrate outstanding academic achievement including a strong track record of personal research and significant experience of learning and teaching, academic quality and of enhancing the student experience.  As a successful leader, you will bring experience of delivering strategic initiatives and a detailed understanding of developments in the higher education sector.
