Job Description:  

Applications are invited for the Post of Research Scientist –I (Non-medical) for the ICMR Funded Project at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), (AMR/Adhoc/290/2022 – ECD-II IRIS ID: 2021-11889), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

Title of the Project:

“Deciphering the efficacy of emerging therapeutic agents against multi-drug resistant ESKAPE pathogens through molecular characterisation, systems and structural biology approaches”

Qualification:

PhD in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life-sciences.  Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis are eligible to apply. M.Tech/M.Sc candidates with more than 5 years of research experience with good publication record from leading research Institutes are also encouraged to submit their applications

Desirable (if any):

Candidates having knowledge in Systems biology, MD simulations, Linux, machine learning will be given preference

Stipend:

Rs. 56,000/ + 5040 (9% HRA) - per month (two years) and Rs. 61040/- per month.
