Research Assistant for the Public Administration Training Centre

The Public Administration Training Centre (PATC) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will assist in research and projects related to public administration training strategies, trends and developments, system and framework, as well as patterns and methods, etc.. He/She will be required to collect and analyze research data and assist in the compilation of research outputs and reports, in addition to the supporting for the course development and activities for the training programmes organized by PATC.

Initial appointment is up to 12 months with a possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• Holder of Bachelor degree or above, and it’s considered an advantage if an applicant majors in Public Administration; 
• Demonstrating relevant working experience;
• Strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, proactive, and detail-oriented;
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English skills;
• Good knowledge of application software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).

 The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in July, 2022.

Remuneration

A taxable monthly remuneration starting from MOP13,000 will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
