The School of Mathematics and Physics is looking for a teaching enthusiast for a part time, fixed term teaching replacement lecturer post. The post can be attractive for someone looking for a flexible part time position. The post is a result of a successful Leverhulme Trust bid. The replacement teaching will cover 1st year physics teaching (organisation, lectures, problem solving classes and marking) as well as some support/participation in some other modules of higher years. There is video material prepared for all year 1 modules by the current lecturer, so the post holder will not need to develop all new teaching material but can adapt the existing one.
The post holder will enjoy all benefits of a standard lecturer post and will join a friendly community at the School of Mathematics and Physics and be part of the rising University of Lincoln located at the heart of the historic city of Lincoln.
Enquiries about the post can be sent to Dr. Fabien Paillusson: FPaillusson@lincoln.ac.uk, Principal Investigator on the Leverhulme Trust project, Chair of the Selection Panel.
Interviews will be held on 3 and 5 August 2021.
