To ensure the Sport and Recreation Facilities are open at the advertised times, the department are currently looking to recruit casual Student Staff members to work as Sports Receptionists at our Greenwich campus, we are looking to fill positions in the gym, sports hall and outdoor pitches

Candidates will be the ‘front facing’ member of staff and ensure all gym users are current members and have completed a full induction.  You will need to answer the phone and either respond to queries or take messages when appropriate. To ensure all sports equipment is erected and dismantled correctly.  To provide good quality customer service and ensure all accidents and incidents are dealt with in accordance with university procedures.  To carry out an element of cleaning of gym equipment after bookings in the sports hall. To administer first aid as required. You will also need to make sure that the sports facilities are cleaned to the higher standards expected post Covid.

The successful candidates will need to be available to work on a shift system between the hours of 07:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 – 18:00 at weekends to ensure the facilities are operational.
