The School of Human Sciences has recently re-located to the fantastic and newly refurbished Dreadnought building on the World Heritage site at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. This move, along with the creation of new facilities, is part of significant investment in the School and part of a long-term plan to build internationally leading research and teaching in the Faculty.   

You will be joining a School and Faculty that is building a strong interdisciplinary and cross-professional approach to solving the grand challenges facing society. We are looking for a colleague who will have a commitment to maintaining and building the University’s excellence in teaching and learning, and who are doing research that has the potential for significant long-term academic and societal impact. 

We welcome applications from individuals with practice experience in one or more of the areas of mental health, disability, adult services or children and families. As a Faculty we also welcome candidates whose research work will resonate with one or more new interdisciplinary Faculty Research Centres within the newly formed Institute for Lifecourse Development:

  • The Centre for Chronic Illness and Ageing
  • The Centre for Vulnerable Children and Families
  • The Centre for Professional Workforce Development
  • The Centre for Inequalities
  • The Centre for Thinking and Learning
  • The Centre for Mental Health
