Applications are invited for appointments as Non-Tenure Track Clinical Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Practice/ Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Practice/ Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Practice in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.  Fractional appointments may be considered for suitable candidates.

Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong, and a higher professional qualification of Specialty Fellowship of the relevant Hong Kong Colleges under the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or equivalent.  They should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, and be able to contribute to the enhancement and development of courses for the Faculty in the broad spectrum of medical and health sciences education.  Proven capacity and potential in conducting research in their respective field(s) would be an advantage.  Direct communication with patients is required and the languages employed are English, Cantonese and Putonghua.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 201800235) need not re-apply.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidates.  Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
