Full-time Postdoctoral fellow in Positive Education in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 523256) (to commence on January 3, 2024, for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a doctoral (e.g., PhD or EdD) degree or above in Psychology, Human Development and Family Science, Counseling Psychology, Inclusive/Special Education, Learning Sciences, or a related discipline. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Preference will be given to those with solid experience in supporting the implementation of research projects such as conducting literature review, performing complex statistical analyses (e.g., multilevel structural equation modelling, latent growth curve modelling, latent profile analyses, and item response theory analyses) via different statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, and MPlus), preparing reports, and supporting in data collection activities. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The appointee will work with Dr. Jess Datu on project/s about psychological resources that facilitate effective learning in STEM subjects and other key learning areas, and well-being among children. He/she will be responsible for coordinating and conducting project-related activities such as literature search, data collection, data analysis; coordinating with schools, team members and other relevant stakeholders; writing research reports and articles; supporting in grant proposal writing; and perform other duties as assigned.
