Assistant Lecturer in the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 523053) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should have a medical degree or a doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Education or a related discipline, with at least 2 years’ experience in educational project management or providing e-learning solutions in tertiary education institutions.  Experience in teaching and/or course content development is essential.  Applicants are also expected to have proven experience in successfully integrating a variety of innovative techniques and technologies for teaching and learning, and have demonstrated ability in communication and collaboration with teachers to determine, design, implement and evaluate instructional strategies and solutions.  A track record of publications in educational journals would be an advantage.    

The appointee will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective online learning community across the MBBS curriculum.  He/She shall work with a team of professional and technical staff in the timely completion of assigned tasks; take the lead to propose new e-learning initiatives; and refine existing e-learning solutions for the Faculty.
