Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 522310), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Structural Biology or Biochemistry. The appointee will work in the DNA replication group headed by Professor Yuanliang Zhai to carry out interdisciplinary research in the field of DNA replication, aiming to understand the molecular mechanisms regulating DNA replication initiation in human cells and their applications in human diseases. Interested individuals with backgrounds in structural biology (cryo-EM), biophysics, biochemistry, bioinformatics, or molecular biology are welcome to apply. A highly competitive remuneration package commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
