Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 516192), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in epidemiology, bioinformatics, microbiology, bio-mathematics/statistics or other related disciplines. They should have excellent communication skills, experience in knowledge sharing, a strong record of research output, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. Research experience in analysing genotypic and phenotypic antimicrobial resistance data with statistical and/or mathematical approaches would be an advantage.

He/She will work semi-independently under the supervision and mentorship of senior academic staff, and will have opportunities to present and publish their own research findings to their peers. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

The University only accepts online application for the above post. Applicants should apply online and upload an up-to-date C.V.  Review of applications will start as soon as possible and continue until October 30, 2022, or until the post is filled, whichever is earlier.
