Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 516092), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics or a health-related discipline. They should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with a track record of planning and implementing public health studies or complex randomized controlled trials, and producing high-quality publications. Strong statistical background and knowledge of mobile-phone-based intervention would be distinct advantages.
The appointee will participate in research related to tobacco control, smoking cessation and alcohol control under the supervision of Dr. Kelvin Wang. He/She is expected to write academic publications, research proposals and reports. Research training opportunities will be provided.
