Job Description

  • Manage course mapping for SMU students applying for international and local exchange programmes
    • Liaise with reviewers, faculty advisors, International Office, Registrar Office, and students to assist students with processing their applications
    • Attend to ISEP/SUSEP requests in person or via email
  • Support Senior Manager in core curriculum’s course administration and logistical needs:
    • Manage room bookings requests
    • Tabulate course offerings for SMU website and faculty timetable
    • Liaise with Schools to compile teaching management records and course outlines
    • Liaise with LMS team and arrange eLearn access for Teaching Assistants
  • Any other administrative and operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent but in the absence of a degree, a diploma coupled with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in administrative work would be required and/or minimum of 3 years of demonstrated performance in a higher education administrative role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff and students
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a meticulous nature and a keen attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
  • Strong work ethic

Other Information

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
