Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Guest Relations Management

Recruiting College: College of Community  

Majors: Hospitality Management, Guest Relations Management , Hotel, Resort & Hospitality Management

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent instruction in undergraduate courses in hospitality management and related areas to the field. 
  • Teach various lodging courses including Introduction to Hospitality Management, Guest Relations Management, Tourism Management, Services Marketing, Meetings & Conventions, etc. 
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities leading to publications; 
  • Provide professional, university, and department service.
  • Advise undergraduate students.
     

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Doctorate from a college or university in a relevant field. 
  • Evidence of teaching ability at the university level (1 year minimum). 
  • English proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and teaching. 
     

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Record of funded research or experience in hospitality management or other areas within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience with web-enhanced education.
