College of Medicine

By virtue of the royal approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, the College of Medicine at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) was established in 1433 AH. I am honored and proud to dean of the PNU College of Medicine, which is unique in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, being dedicated to female students. The College seeks to achieve excellence and leadership locally, regionally, and internationally in the fields of medical education, scientific research, local and international partnership and cooperation, and community service.

     The vision of the PNU College of Medicine is to provide a distinct leading educational environment for the study of medicine, and to graduate competent medical doctors able to serve their community with professionalism that is based on medical knowledge, and supported with Islamic education and practical behaviors and skills. This is achieved by providing scientifically efficient and highly professional academic cadres, and by adopting a dynamic approach that provides clinical training combining health sciences and the use of advanced modern technology.

     The PNU College of Medicine‚Äôs mission is to graduate outstanding female doctors qualified in basic medical sciences,  with outstanding skills, high professional ethics, and the ability to adapt and deal with the most difficult medical problems that confront us in life.
