We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Digital Enterprise. Working within the Department of Business and Management, you will join a team of highly qualified academics with a passion for enhancing the student experience.  You will contribute to research informed and technology enabled learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition to teaching, you will undertake research and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s Digital Business Research Signature area and cross university Digital Living research profile, together with engaging in consultancy, enterprise, and other income generation and business development activities. You will be expected to contribute to our research signature areas, particularly the Digital Business Signature Area: https://www.northumbria.ac.uk/about-us/academic-departments/newcastle-business-school/nbs-research/digital-business/.

You must have (or be close to completing) a PhD in a relevant field, ideally coupled with a record of publications. With excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in the field and be able to teach effectively on a range of academic and professional programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning.  You will possess strong quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills as well as knowledge and expertise in either one, or several of, the emerging areas of Digital Enterprise such as: the Internet of Things, Digital Business Models and Digital Innovation.  You will also ideally be a member of an appropriate professional body.
