Salary: Senior Lecturer: £39,992 - £49,149 ; Lecturer: £35,520 - £38,832

You will join a team of highly qualified academics working within the Business and Management Department, and specifically the Marketing subject group. The successful candidate will contribute to research informed learning and teaching, with particular focus on the innovative new Masters programme in Digital Marketing. In addition, digital marketing is a central subject across our range of undergraduate programmes and modules, addressing subjects as diverse as multi and Omni channel marketing, mobile marketing, web analytics and digital campaign management.
We enjoy established relationships with both the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, with our students enjoying much success in national level digital marketing competitions.
Furthermore, you will undertake research, enterprise and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s research profile and contribute to the Digital Business Signature Area https://www.northumbria.ac.uk/about-us/academic-departments/newcastle-business-school/nbs-research/digital-business/).
With excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to demonstrate expertise in and knowledge of Digital Marketing and be able to teach effectively on a range of programmes using a variety of approaches to practice-focused student learning.
Appropriately professionally qualified, you will also be doctorally qualified or about to complete a doctorate and be undertaking research. Research should be aligned to areas such as (but not restricted to) mobile marketing, search, digital marketing metrics and social media marketing.
