Salary: Senior Lecturer – £39,324 – £48,327; Lecturer – £33,943 – £38,183

Within the Faculty of Business and Law, the double AACSB accredited, THE award winning Newcastle Business School has an outstanding reputation in the delivery of research informed applied programmes.   You will join a team of highly qualified academics working within the Corporate and Executive Development Department. The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for working with post experience learners on our full time, part time and distance learning programmes such as the MBA, MSc leadership and management our new chartered manager degree apprenticeship programmes. You will contribute to research informed learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Furthermore, you will undertake research, enterprise and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s strategic objectives.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to demonstrate expertise in and knowledge of Leadership and executive education or work based experiential learning and be able to teach effectively on a range of programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning.  You will ideally have experience of working within a leadership or management role and be able to apply theory to practice.

Appropriately professionally qualified, you will ideally be doctorally qualified or have commenced doctoral study and subsequent research. We are interested in researchers working in the areas related to leadership and management, work based learning and employability or professional development and coaching.
