The Faculty of Engineering and Environment is passionate about the principles and applications of Engineering, Science and Technology in all its forms and strives to be excellent in research, teaching and innovation. Based within the Faculty, the Department of Computer & Information Sciences has particular strengths in Cyber Security and Networked Systems, HCI, Social Computing, Computational Intelligence and Visual Computing, Information Management and Data Analytics. We are currently seeking to appoint at Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level and are particularly interested in high-quality applications from candidates who will either align with our areas of existing strength, or support us in growing capacity in the areas of robotics, theoretical computer science, games or ubiquitous computing. High quality candidates in any area of expertise within the scope of the Department are also welcome to apply.

You must hold a first degree and it is desirable that you should be either qualified or soon to be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline. You must have subject expertise in Computer Science with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching within an appropriate field is essential. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body is desirable.
