Faculty Positions at the Department of Engineering

I. Announcement

The Department of Engineering Science at National Cheng Kung University is currently seeking applications for a full-time professor position (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level) in the following field. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field, and the starting date of employment will be determined according to the university's schedule. The required field of expertise is as follows:

1. A doctoral degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related engineering field from domestic or foreign institutions.

2. Research expertise in thermal-fluid sciences and energy-related fields. Applicants with expertise in the following emerging areas are particularly desirable:

1. Advanced thermal-fluid simulation and experimental techniques.
2. Green energy or net-zero carbon technologies.
3. Semiconductor processes and their thermal-fluid aspects.

3. Ability to teach core courses such as thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, engineering mathematics, numerical analysis, and related elective courses.

II. Required Documents

1. Detailed curriculum vitae with a recent photo and indication of the desired position.
2. Copies of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral certificates and transcripts. (For foreign degrees, verification from overseas embassies or consulates is required.)
3. Three recommendation letters. (To be sent by registered mail or electronically before the application deadline.)
4. List of publications and reprints of five representative papers published within the past five years.
5. Research and teaching plan.
6. Other supporting materials for evaluation (e.g., certificates, patents, etc.)
