The International Renewables and Energy Systems Integration (IRESI) Group, is a research centre housed in the School of Business. IRESI's research focuses on propelling sustainable energy systems into the future by helping individuals, organisations and institutions in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable energy landscape. We are seeking an excellent candidate to join our team as a research assistant to provide research for the Research Ireland project RENEW and support this vibrant and highly productive academic department.
This role combines research and technical expertise, particularly in software development and user experience, to support the development, testing, and rollout of innovative digital solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing research outcomes while contributing to the strategic goals of IRESI and Maynooth University.
Salary:
Research Assistant Level 2 (2024): €36,796 p.a. (1 point)
Research Assistant Level 1 (2024): €31,962 – €35,856 p.a.(6 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions
