Assistant Professor at the Department of Criminal Law

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, announces a competition for the full-time position of a assistant or assistant professor at the Department of Criminal Law - 2 x (for maternity and parental leave, part-time 0,5)

Requirements

for the position of the assistant professor:

• completed Master's degree in Law at the Faculty of Law,
• the scientific rank of CSc., Dr., Ph.D.,
• interest in the field of Financial Law evidenced by concrete results,
• teaching experience of at least 3 years full-time at a university
• abilities to do research independently,
• excellent command of a world language, other language skills being an advantage,
• publishing activities in the field; presenting the three most important scientific publications,
• citation index; impacted periodicals being an advantage,
• experience in writing and obtaining Czech or international projects (e.g. GACR or ERC, Marie Curie, Visegrad Fund, etc.) is an advantage,
• active participation in Czech and international conferences is an advantage,
• membership in important Czech or foreign organizations is an advantage,
• moral integrity.

Requirements 

for the position of the assistant:

• completed Master's degree in Law at the Faculty of Law,
• advanced stage of postgraduate studies in the field of Financial Law and Financial Scientes; if the PhD studies were started before September 1, 2012, the prerequisite for the position of the teaching assistant is filing an application for the defense of the dissertation (§ 47 Paragraph 4 of Act No. 111/1998 Sb.),
• pedagogical skills and experience,
• proven interest in the field of Financial Law,
• abilities to do research independently,
• excellent command of a world language, other language skills being an advantage,
• publishing activities, presenting the three most important scientific publications, impacted periodicals being an advantage,
• active participation in Czech and international conferences is an advantage,
• membership in important Czech or foreign organizations is an advantage,
• moral integrity.

If the applicant already worked at that position at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, in the past his/her scientific publications from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University are to be presented.

The commencement: since September 1, 2018 or by agreement
