THE DEAN OF FACULTY OF STUDIES INVITES APPLICATIONS for the position of Assistant Professor at Department of Media Studies and Journalism

Extent:  20–40 hours / week
Start: September 1st, 2022, or later by agreement
Deadline: July 5th, 2022

Job description:

  • teaching in the Czech language, in Bachelor and Masters programs;
  • supervision of the Bachelor and Masters theses;
  • research and academic publishing;

Required qualifications and competencies:

  • Ph.D. or its equivalent in media studies or related disciplines;
  • focus on teaching and research in the field of media studies and mass communication;
  • relevant publications;
  • an ability to provide teaching in Czech and English;
  • an ability for teamwork;
  • an ability for future professional individual development.

  • list of research projects the applicant led or joined in last 5 years;
